In 2003 Eric was diagnosed with a malignant Sertoli cell tumor, an extremely rare form of testicular cancer for which he underwent surgeries and chemotherapy. He fought with determination and spirit, never giving up, but died on March 19th, 2005, at the age of 33. This blog was Eric's way of keeping family and friends apprised of his condition. This site will be maintained indefinitely so that others may share in his humor, his pains and, most important, his love of life.
I'm sorry for not responding to everyone's e-mails. I try to get to them as quickly as I can, but sometimes I get behind. I do read them and appreciate them. I will make a conscience effort to get back to everyone.
