Friday, 10/22 -- Missing blog entry.
I declare shenanigans on Blogger.com! My entry for Thursday the 21st has mysteriously disappeared.
I've contacted the kind folks at Blogger.com to see what happened. Hopefully they'll be able to find it.
I blame Bush.
I also place blame on Cuttlefish Peanut Instant Snacks. Gastronomic terrorism.

oh, don't eat the cuttlefish! last summer i worked at a korean school in elkins park, next to the huge korean market, han a reum. I once bought what I expected to be a sweet roll. How pleasant to discover the red fish eggs inside. mmmm, korean version of krispy kreme, mmmm. although i've liked most foods i've tried in korean restaurants, even bibimbop (sp? - the soup with a fried egg on top), their snack foods still freak me out.

Wow, the excitement! How was I to know that my impromptu visit to the acclaimed Asian market at 69th Street would be the focus of a blog. For all you anti-Cuttlefish types, I say, "Don't knock it till you try it!" (Not that I have, being allergic to peanuts and all). But I can vouch for the dried-and-salted shrimp snaps! And NOTHING beats a good rice-and-bean cake Ddeok. God bless the Asian mart! ~Melissa
Oh, and let's not overlook the penis-like quality of the cuttlefish pictured on the packaging. Those Asians know a thing or two about advertising. Sure got me to buy -em!
P.S. The Elkins Park Asian Mart rocks, too! ~Melis
